Emerald Isle NC charter fishing

Well the wind was blowing pretty hard, so decided to fish inside, picked up a load of live shrimp and headed to the inlet, float cork rig with live shrimp was on. We caught lots of pretty flounders and some small ones too, even had some Specks hit as well. Great day of fishing!

Emerald Isle NC Fishing Charters

Great day along the Crystal Coast, had a great group on today, started out fishing for the Spanish, the big ones, came close to a NC citation, missed by 3/4 of a pound. The Spaniards were biting early, pretty much destroying the menhaden as they hit the water. Finished up with trying to site cast for reds in the shoals, but ended up getting attack by blitzing Blues, was pretty awesome, lots of action.

Very nice trip today, the weather was beautiful and the bite was on. Picked up some pogies and made our way out and found lots of 3-5 pound Spanish at the near shore ledges, Big Sea Bass bottom bouncing and a couple of AJ's strikes at the reefs. We had about a half dozen big knock downs. Great day on the water, give us a call at 910-787-2500 to book your adventure.

Emerald Isle Fishing

There was some awesome fishing today along the Crystal Coast. I had a trip with another good friend and Captain Chris Sewell. We headed along the beach looking for some action. Well we found it. We had several big knock downs and runs with some big fish, probably Kings. Fought a few Amberjacks and ended up with 3 citation fish. Did some bottom fishing and caught some of the prettiest Black Sea Bass I have seen. No party is too large for us, we will divide the crew up and have a little competition between boats, its a great time. So give us a call at Coastal Carolina Charters (910) 787-2500 to book your next trip.

Sea Bass bottom fishing and a "Bomber"

Lots of Black Sea Bass out there and boy are they hungry, the season finally opened on the 1st and they were plentiful. Just about every drop we were pulling up legal Bass, that was awesome, great day even when the Brown Bomber showed up, Ken wanted to catch a shark anyway, it was great. Black Sea Bass is great for the kids, its keeps them busy and we have some very nice sized Sea Bass right now, so come on out with the kids and have a great time.

Ecology tour

Great trip from Hammocks Beach State Park today. Picked up some happy campers from the island and took them out for some sight seeing in the waterway and inlet, we saw lots of porpoises, a few came really close to the boat. Caught a few fish too. We also do some clamming, crabbing and look for sharks teeth and tell some pirate stories, all in all a great time for all. Give us a call, the trips are very affordable and a great experience for you while staying here on the Crystal Coast.
