Well it started out a little windy this morning, but we managed to find a few fish in the backwaters. I had two great guys on today, Nick and his father in law Bill. We hit the backwaters and got set up in a honey hole of mine. We were throwing 1/16 ounce Gamakatsu jigs with 4" Berkley Gulp Pogies (white). The reds were liking this set up early. We headed down towards the the bombing range and switched up to some topwaters. I really love the Rapala "Skitter Walk", we were using the black and silver ones, they were getting some serious action, plenty of blow ups.
All in all a great day with some great people.
