Hit the backwaters today, it was so beautiful. There was hardly any wind at all this morning. Putting the Minn-Kota trolling motor down and started scouting. We found a very nice school of about 200 fish hanging around. We worked 1/16 ounce Gamakatsu jigs with 3" Berkley shrimp. The fish were a little "skittish" but eventually came around. Most of the fish were in the slot limit 18-27" with one or two 'bruisers' in the school. A great day for red fishing!!!
